I was so excited to meet Kat! I automatically knew I was going to love her vibe. All those new jitters meeting someone new just slip away. The ocean has a way of making you feel at home, even when you are with someone new for the first time. Its an ice breaker of sorts and allows me to be in my element. A girl and her horse
I have had this vision in my mind for a while now… sort of Greek goddess inspired but still very much Hawaii, intimate and sexy. When I saw the Starburt (the horse) I knew just who I could envision on top of this 1200 pound muscle machine of a horse. I contacted Jasmine and I got lucky! Jasmine agreed to the sunrise horse beach session. The day of the shoot was Jasmine’s birthday and we could not ask for a better setting or weather!! I’ve been wanting to expand my creativity in my photo sessions, and I decided to try a concept boudoir session with a milk bath. Since I already love water images, I knew that a milk bath would be perfect with my boudoir and underwater photographer style! For the boudoir milk bath session, we utilized the lanai of my home photography studio on Oahu, Hawaii (lanai is the Hawaiian word for outdoor porch or patio). Underwater Boudoir Photography – Oahu, Hawaii
Ms. K was nervous about swimming underwater and being nude! She had recently done a mermaid styled photography session with me, and her nerves quickly faded as soon as we began shooting her underwater session. She looked effortless in the aqua blue waves off the east side of Oahu, Hawaii. For someone who has endured so much in her lifetime, and being a mother of three. She truly needed this underwater boudoir session, and she needed a way to say goodbye to this beautiful island in the pacific and start her new path in New York.
